Appetite For Change is a nonprofit that uses food as a tool to build health, wealth, and social change in North Minneapolis. We bring people together to learn, cook, eat, and grow food, creating change that lasts.
Appetite for Change (AFC) aims to advance the Northside’s ability to cultivate a community-owned food system. We work to build sustainable farming practices while increasing access to fresh, affordable, and culturally relevant foods. To achieve this, we focus our efforts on: Urban Agriculture at one of our 3 plots in North Minneapolis, Community Cooks Workshops and Mealboxes, and paid our Youth Training and Opportunty Program.

We are seeking support for AFC’s Community Cooks program. This program is a barrier-free meal delivery program designed to promote food justice. Community Cooks offers free cooking workshops tailored to meet the needs of youth, families, and the Northside community.
We are have been partners with EastSide Co-op for the last couple years, in 2025 Eastside Co-op sponsored our 14th annual Seed and Plant Distribution Event.
