Annex Teen Clinic

The Annex provides youth-centered sexual health services and education, and we're expanding our impact by addressing food insecurity in the individuals we serve through a new partnership with FoodRx. By offering nutritious meals alongside trusted care, we’re supporting the full spectrum of young people’s health and helping them build stronger, more stable futures.

The Annex Teen Clinic helps young people take charge of their whole health by providing confidential health services and education. We offer low or no-cost sexual health care and education for youth through age 25 in North Minneapolis and Northwest Hennepin County. We specialize in serving low-income, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ youth who face higher barriers to care. Services are offered at our Robbinsdale clinic, in schools, and community settings, with trusted, innovative programs recognized statewide.

Beginning June 2025, the Annex will be a participating FoodRx location, supporting Eastside Seedlings’ goals of increasing youth food access. We serve a primarily low-income population -87% of patients are low-income, and 47% report no income. Integrating FoodRx into our care model addresses food insecurity and ensures young people have access to nutritious food alongside critical, youth-centered health services in a trusted and accessible setting.

A donation from Eastside Seedlings would allow us to purchase additional shelf-stable foods and essential items to supplement the frozen meals provided through the FoodRx program. These funds will help us offer a more robust and flexible selection of nutritious options, ensuring that young people visiting the Annex have access to food that meets their immediate needs and supports their overall health and well-being.

The Annex is a trusted provider with deep roots in the communities we serve. Our team builds strong, affirming relationships with youth, making us a safe and accessible place for care. We are excited to expand our services through FoodRx and appreciate your support in helping us address both health and food access needs for young people facing the greatest barriers.
