Intuitive Art Workshop

  • Eastside Food Co-op 2551 Northeast Central Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55418 United States (map)

This gentle creative practice invites you to settle into your body and access inner stillness through expressive art. We’ll begin with grounding breathwork to calm the nervous system, followed by warm-up exercises to awaken creative energy. From there, you’ll move into a free-flowing process of playful layering using a variety of visual mediums, including colored pencils, scrape art, watercolors, collage, markers, and more. No artistic experience is necessary—only a willingness to release expectations and be present with what emerges. All supplies are provided.

Rachel (she/her) is a certified therapeutic art facilitator and multidisciplinary artist with nearly two decades of experience, working across stained glass, poetry, live painting, ceramics, printmaking, and photography. Holding a Bachelor’s in Intercultural Studies, her work carries activist roots grounded in the belief that creativity is not a luxury, but resistance. Through her own healing journey, Rachel discovered expressive art as a pathway to authenticity, presence, and spiritual insight. As a facilitator and keynote speaker, she leads spaces ranging from intimate gatherings to large groups, holding creativity as a portal to wholeness, resilience, and collective hope in times of trauma.
