Little Kitchen Food Shelf

Little Kitchen Food Shelf is an emergency food shelf in NE Minneapolis that removes zip code and income limits so that we can serve ALL who come to our doors, including the companion animals of our clients. We also partner with many other organizations to expand our reach in the community beyond our doors!

Little Kitchen Food Shelf is a no-boundaries, no-restrictions food shelf serving the Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood and beyond. We serve all people, regardless of income or zip code. In addition, we stock dog and cat food to feed the companion animals of those in need.

First and foremost, we remove zip code/income limits so that we can serve as many people as possible. We also provide fresh produce from our own Grace Garden with help from our youth volunteers, as well as from our community partnerships and via our network of local gardeners. We especially strive to stock our shelves with a variety of culturally specific items, so that we can provide needed essentials to our many diverse clients. We also adhere to environmentally-friendly operations.

This donation would help us keep our shelves adequately stocked, which has become especially difficult due to increased need and ever-rising food costs. It would also help us to continue expanding our garden, so that we can provide even more fresh produce!

In addition to serving visitors at our onsite food shelf, Little Kitchen Food Shelf also partners with many organizations and businesses in the community to provide off-site food distributions to groups in need. We are committed to increasing food access to all, and we are also committed to being active and supportive members of our community!
