Learn to create your own "Sun Rays" painting (canvas is 12x16 inches, frame not included)! This class will be led step-by-step from start to finish, with clear instruction and all tools and paints provided for you! You are welcome to follow along as closely as you would like, or take as much creative liberty as you would like. You may complete the project in the colors shown or in your own custom color scheme to match your personal preference or home décor style. The joy of creating this style of abstract art is in the process, allowing yourself to explore and play, while having the structure and guidance to produce a piece of artwork you’ll feel excited to display.
Bre is an artist based in NE Minneapolis. She creates modern, abstract acrylic paintings, with a focus on combining shapes, colors, and textures into patterns that evoke positive emotion or intrigue. In her paintings, she embraces the creative process as just as valuable as the final product, which often means being pleasantly surprised by the artistic outcomes she could not have fully predicted! Through her business A Brush of Joy, she is fulfilling her dream to bring the JOY of creativity to others and make art forms more accessible to her community. She does this through leading "paint & sip" events, teaching partner dance lessons (she used to teach and compete professionally in ballroom dance!), and painting custom pet portraits.
