Botanical Impressions

  • Eastside Food Co-op 2551 Northeast Central Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55418 United States (map)

Each participant will create their own reusable 11” x 9” fabric produce bag—beautiful, functional, and eco-friendly. Using a botanical printing technique called flower pounding, participants will transfer natural dyes from fresh plants and flowers directly onto the fabric bag.

Willa is a self-taught textile artist who enjoys sewing, quilting, design, and embroidery. Her recent work explores eco-printing on fabric using natural dyes from flowers and plants. Her art is all about celebrating the beauty of the outdoors, and sharing that joy through teaching is her absolute favorite thing to do.
