Arts & Craft Supply Swap

  • Eastside Food Co-op 2551 Northeast Central Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55418 United States (map)

Join Us for Our Monthly Swap Series: Secondhand Sundays on the Second Sunday of the Month!
This month, we’re swapping art and craft supplies!

Bring any surplus art and/or craft supplies that have been collecting dust and swap them out for something new to you! No need to bring items to take items, there's always plenty to go around.

How It Works:

  1. Bring your gently-used arts and craft supplies in good condition.

  2. Set out your items on the tables, where they will be displayed alongside items from other participants.

  3. Take what you need; everything on the tables is free to take, no direct exchanges required! Feel free to browse and pick up anything that catches your eye.

This isn’t a traditional swap meet where you trade items one-to-one; instead, it’s a chance to share and receive freely, creating a fun and community-driven atmosphere.

At the end of the swap, any remaining supplies will be thoughtfully donated to support local non-profit organizations. So, not only are you refreshing your stash, but you're also giving back to the creative community! It’s a win-win-win situation!

We will have tables for the following categories:

  1. Drawing & Painting (e.g. pencils, markers, paints, brushes, etc.)

  2. Paper & Cardstock (e.g. construction paper, watercolor paper, patterned paper, card stock, etc.)

  3. Fabric & Textiles (e.g. felt, cotton, embroidery floss, yarn, etc.)

  4. Adhesives & Tools (e.g. all glues, tape, epoxy, scissors, craft knives, etc.)

  5. “Decorative Elements” (e.g. fake flowers, stickers, glitter, tiny animals, etc.)

  6. Started But Incomplete Projects (e.g. half done cross stich, cloth pieces cut out but not sewn together, etc.)

  7. OTHER (anything that doesn’t fit into the above categories).

Bringing your own bags to take home your goodies is a great idea!
