We Stand Together

Our community is hurting. We are sad, angry, and deeply unsettled by the raids happening across the Twin Cities. As co-ops, we believe in showing up for one another, and when our neighbors are under threat, we act together.

The Wedge Co-op, Eastside Food Co-op, Seward Co-op, and Mississippi Market + River Market Co-op are united in our commitment to care and solidarity. We reject the harm being caused by the cruel and violent actions of ICE agents, and we affirm that our co-op spaces remain places of welcome and safety for all.

We are supporting organizations that are doing essential work for our communities. Each co-op is offering a Round Up at the register, with funds going to the Legal Rights Center, Agate Housing, the Immigrant Law Center, and TC Food Justice. Together, our co-ops are also contributing $12,500 in direct support to The Advocates for Human Rights.

We encourage our community to stay informed through trusted local groups like MIRAC and Monarca, who are sharing timely information and ways to support our immigrant neighbors. These are heavy times. Please take care of yourself and each other. Community care is strongest when we stand together.
