UNFI Distribution Service Interruption

Eastside’s primary distributor, UNFI, experienced a cyber attack on Friday, June 6th. As a result, they have a system-wide shutdown of the software used for placing and fulfilling orders. Currently they are working to remedy this security breach of their IT systems and bring back online their ordering, shipping, and receiving. As a result of this interruption there will be temporary out of stocks for some of your favorite items. Eastside is working with its other distributors, makers, and suppliers to access supply chains that can help lessen the impact of this issue. During this time, we are temporarily halting special orders, including catering orders.
