ALL TOGETHER NOW BANDS!
26 Bats!
Circus pop band from Minneapolis. Fronted by the transgender nonbinary legend, Babo aka Bailey 26 Cogan and accompanied by their gentle giant bestie, Karl Remus on guitar, Daniel "Chavo" Chavez on trumpet, Jack Stanek on Bass, and Tarek Abdelqader on drums. This band is electrifying live with nasty grooves & riffs, catchy melodies, and portal opening lyricism. Coined 'the Genre Rebel' by Growler Mag, they wrote "26 BATS! has successfully garnered a following comprised of all kinds of music lovers. Being unmoored to any one genre puts the group in a unique spot, allowing them to share bills with a variety of acts: from Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti, Black Pumas, and Kirin J Callinan, to the silky, beat-laden Dua Saleh."
bathtub cig
bathtub cig, is the intimate depression pop project of Hilary James, touring nationally as well as playing actively in the local Minnesota music scene. Their 2018 debut EP "Old Light" draws comparisons to a synth-pop version of Frankie Cosmo with raw lyrics and catchy melodies. 2021 EP "bed" is both a dream-like and hazy musing on the global pandemic, as well as a heartbreaking attempt to cope with grief of the loss of a friend to addiction. bathtub cig's 2022 debut full length "Night Blindness" has been described as a clever and dark Gen Z Ode, putting out hardest thoughts into music. It was voted an essential Minnesota Album and the band was voted "Picked to Click". Fans of Faye Webster, David Bazan and Lomelda will hear hints to these artists, but surf rock and punk catharsis are in the mix as well.

Greg Grease
Greg Grease is a Musician/Visual Artist/Sewer out of Southside Minneapolis. There is a blue-collar Afro-centricity present throughout all of Grease’s music, particularly with his band Astralblak (aka ZULUZULUU), a Soul/Funk/Future Space movement created to empower and elevate through sonics. Grease creates reality raps reflecting his environment growing up in a lower-middle-class neighborhood as a black youth, and feel-good music with a hard smack that pulls listeners. Greg also owns and operates River Life Dry Goods, where he designs, hand sews leather goods, canvas bags, and bespoke menswear.
