Eastside Food Co-op’s Seedlings program makes it simple for shoppers to support organizations making a positive impact in our community! Shoppers make small donations at the register which add up to meaningful contributions to nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our store’s mission.

Nonprofit organizations working in the food access, agriculture and environmental sectors are encouraged to apply annually for Seedlings support. Eastside owners will vote on 2020 Seedlings recipients in elections this fall. Selected recipients will be notified in November and will be announced publicly in the winter issue of The Carrot.
Eastside Food Co-op reserves a portion of its annual budget to support organizations committed making our community a better place to live! This support is provided in the form of co-op gift cards, generally in amounts that do not exceed $50, which can be used to purchase goods from the co-op for event refreshments, door prizes or auction items. Occasionally we are able to fill requests for donated products or other items.
Local nonprofit organizations are invited to submit donation requests once per year. Submit completed forms to Customer Service or via email to email@example.com at least 60 days in advance of the requested event date.
