EFC Wins Small Business of the Year!

The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce awarded Eastside Food Co-op the 2009 Small (50 or fewer employees) Business of the Year award on October 6, 2009 at the Second Annual Northeast Celebration event held at the Aveda Institute. Eastside has been a member of the Chamber since 2003. This is the second time the co-op has won the Small Business Award. The first award was given in 2004, in recognition of the store's successful first year. This year, the co-op was recognized for our continued growth, our leadership on Central Avenue, and our commitment to post-consumer plastics recycling.
